During his fellowship, he secured a $2.5 million grant from Green Climate Fund Grant to address consequences of climate change and health to improve Samoa’s resilience. As a medical student, he was a Global Health Research fellow and completed a research project focused on perceptions of snake envenomation in Panama. He also held lead the SNHP chapter, served on student government for 4 years, and served on the executive board for free clinic. He has future interest in primary care, global health, and health leadership. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, road and mountain cycling, and international travel. We are excited to see the amazing adventures that await Raj over the next 4 years here in Miami!
