Robert comes to us from Loveland, OH. As a medical student, Robert volunteered for the PODEMOS program in Honduras and mentored a first-year undergraduate student and a high school student with the Latinx Space Enrichment Research (LASER) mentor program. He entered a one-year family medicine internship at Jacksonville Naval Base and the completed one year of Flight Surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute flight school training in Pensacola, FL. He then entered the Navy as a Flight Surgeon for the past three years. During his time in the Navy, he served on the Aviation Safety Council, the Aviation Mishap Board, and the Patrol Squadron-47, and provided primary care services during this time. His time in the Navy includes deployments in Sicily, Italy, Misawa, Japan, Wake Island, and Oak Harbor, Washington. His hobbies include running, swimming, and sand volleyball. His future career plans include entering academic Med-Peds. We are excited to have Robert join our Med-Peds family!
