Sarah is originally from San Diego, CA, and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego.   As a medical student at the University of Cincinnati, Sarah was heavily involved in the Chasing Medicine foundation, and 501(c)3 foundation focused on helping students from underrepresented backgrounds in medicine to succeed.  She served as Chief Executive Assistant and director of Community Education and Outreach.  She was also involved in the SNMA, AMA Region V, and MedVoUC programs at the University of Cincinnati.  She was also involved in research working with patients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. For her academic excellence and dedication to the community, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society.  She is dedicated with health equity and addressing implicit biases in medicine.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, calligraphy, puzzles, and languages.  She is interested in a future career in transition medicine.  We are so excited to have Sarah join our amazing Med-Peds family.
