Loma Linda University School of Medicine

Born in the heart of Miami, Florida, Vanessa is excited to be back home in the 305. Vanessa went to medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and received her BS degree from Oakwood University in Biomedical Sciences where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  During medical school she held down numerous positions simultaneously including Executive Vice president of the student association, member of the academic review committee, Med-Peds Interest group treasurer and vice president of their medical school senate.  She has a passion for disparities work with a focus on the academic setting.
