Med-Peds Chief Residents

Welcome to the UM/JMH Med-Peds Program!

We are proud to represent this program as chief residents, aptly named ”EmOwena”.

Our program is located in the heart of beautiful Miami, where the sun shines year-round (except when it rains). We were drawn to this program by the strong culture of advocacy and the opportunity to care for the diverse and vibrant patient population of Miami. As chief residents, we hope to promote medical education, resident wellness, and advocacy inside and outside of the hospital. Our days are spent participating in research, quality improvement, and scholarship as well as growing into excellent clinicians, strong leaders, effective educators, and unrelenting physician-advocates.
