Kai Decross-Gonzaleas joined the Med-Peds Residency Program in June 2024 as the Senior Program Coordinator. Previously working in the Division of Medical Development and Alumni relations, Kai played a pivotal role in helping to raise funds for vital initiatives at the Miller School of Medicine. His dedication to securing resources for important initiatives underscores his commitment to the institution's mission of excellence in medical education and research.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Spanish, Kai is driven by a vision to enhance accessibility to healthcare and remove barriers hindering patient care. Kai's passion for healthcare was ignited during his tenure at a non-profit organization, where he was committed to creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Now, as the Senior Program Coordinator for the Med-Peds Residency Program, Kai is thrilled to bring his diverse experience and dedication to the program, collaborating with exceptional individuals who will serve as the future of healthcare professionals.
